Setting up AIMS-Senegal

On January 25, 2010 the legal status of AIMS-Senegal Foundation were signed at the National Academy of Sciences and Technology of Senegal in Dakar. AIMS-Senegal is a Senegalese charitable foundation which aims to build the AIMS- Senegal Institute and make it operate. Its board is composed of the following persons.

Ismail Mbaye, Council to the President of Senegal
Pr. Michel Laurent, Director of Institut de Recherche pour le Développement
Pr. Souleymane Niang, Chair of the National Academy of Sciences and Technology of Senegal
Pr. Vincent Rivasseau, Chair of the Foundation
Pr. Mamadou Sanghare, General Administrator of the Foundation
Pr. Neil Turok, Chair of AIMS-South Africa and the AIMS-Next Einstein initiative
